Clinical Research Institute of Benin (IRCB)

The Clinical Research Institute of Benin (IRCB) was founded in 2015 and is directed by Professor Achille Massougbodji. It is an institution dedicated to various clinical research activities:

  • The management of clinical research projects and their submission to public or private sponsors in order to acquire funds for the realization of these projects ;
  • The conduct of clinical research studies in the field of infectious or metabolic diseases, particularly those endemic to sub-Saharan Africa;
  • The establishment of national and international collaborations in the field of biomedical research;
  • Training in biomedical research through the supervision of researchers, students, and technical personnel of all nationalities;
  • The hosting of international researchers for clinical studies conducted by the IRCB.

IRCB is located in the town of Abomey Calavi in Benin.

Rokia Sanogo receives the Prix Galien Afrique 2021 for her work in traditherapy

The Prix Galien Afrique recognizes excellence and innovation. It is awarded for products, services and initiatives that are highly convincing or promising, in the field of innovative discoveries and therapies at the service of humanity. For the category "Best traditherapy product", Pr Rokia SANOGO, member of the GDRI QUALITY, was awarded this prize on December 11, 2021 in Dakar (Senegal), by the President of the Republic of Senegal.
